Transfers are checked before any order is written

If you run more than one store, Aisle now looks at the other shelf before it writes a purchase order. When the surplus location is far enough above its own minimum, you get a transfer slip instead — item, bin, and the count each store ends up with.

  • Slips print for the van run, or export as a CSV.
  • Both counts update when the boxes are scanned in at the far end.
  • Aisle stops proposing a move the moment the sending store would drop under its own minimum.

Receiving, at the back door, on a phone

Open a purchase order while the pallet is still on the lift gate and count what came off it. Shorts and overages post to the board before the shrink wrap is off.

A short line opens a claim with the rep the same afternoon, with the line, the count and the order number already filled in. Changed case costs flow into margin without a second entry.

Seasonal minimums, drawn as a curve

The season editor used to be two dates and a number. It is now the item's own three-year sales curve with the window drawn on it, so you can see whether the minimum climbs before the sales do.

Existing windows were migrated as they were. Nothing moved on its own.

EDI for three more distributors

Cobb Valley Distributors, Plainsman Fastener Co. and Great Bend Paint Co. now take orders over EDI 850 and send acknowledgements back on 855, so a partial fill shows on the board before the truck leaves their dock.

Everyone else still gets a PDF and a CSV by email, which is what most reps ask for anyway.

Counts post while you are still in the aisle

A cycle count used to sit in a batch until you pressed the button at the end. Each bin now posts as you leave it, so a count taken at 7:05 AM is on the board at 7:05 AM.

Variances over five percent still wait in the review list. That has not changed, and will not.

The dollar cap now applies to combined orders

A cap set at $400 was applied per line rather than per purchase order, so a supplier order made of five $120 lines could go out without asking. It now applies to the order total, which is what everyone expected it to mean.

If you set a cap before this release, check it once. Nothing was changed for you.
